This volume is Dutch scholar Daniel Heinsius' edition of the works of Horace. Its text is in Latin and Greek. This edition is believed to have been influential on English poet and playwright Ben Jonson and has been referred to by one scholar as the "famous Elzevier Horace of 1629."
