Murdock's law. While on the trail of a wanted criminal, Special Deputy Page Murdock finds himself appointed marshal in a lawless Montana town that is ready to plunge into a full-scale range war. City of widows. A federal judge sends Deputy Marshall Page Murdoch after a corrupt sheriff who killed the judge's best friend. Murdoch is chosen because he is the most likely to bring back the sheriff dead, thus avoiding a complicated trial.
