London under midnight
de Simon Clark
The graffiti spreads through London like wildfire. While its population carries on with life as usual, beneath the untroubled surface, changes are happening. The ancient Thames still runs its cold, dark waters between the shining office blocks. Where there was once barely any life in the river, little more than eels and rats, there is now another force - New-Life is infiltrating the city. Men and women are disappearing without trace. What did the old African preacher see emerging from the undergrowth? Is this the essence of evil encountered long ago?
