The artistic movements in Europe have always been shared by all countries. Expressionism is certainly not the exception to this rule, although it is usually attributed to Germany, but also to Italy. Expressionism boasts of this sacred spirit in various places, in consequence of polycentricity that characterizes Italy. The engraving and woodcut tools were more specific in Italian Expressionism: self-sufficient, spontaneous and polyphonic, as this catalog will demonstrate powerfully works and topics.
