Exposes the reality of the greed that has driven the progress achieved in South Korea since the beginning of political democracy paired with a capitalistic economy in the 1960s. Describes the deep corruption and greed of the old wealthy and of the new intellectuals who, by organizing lobbying activities and bribery, facilitate this mechanism out of blind loyalty and their own survival instinct.
