"Being forced to conduct services online during the COVID-19 pandemic has been both a frustration and an opportunity, particularly with regard to the holy communion. This study explores how communion has been shared remotely--from spiritual communion to 'bubble' Eucharist and livestreamed services--and asks whether it can and should be encouraged, both under lockdown and in contagion-free times."--
