Hansel and Gretel

A simplified version of the traditional tale in which Hansel and Gretel become lost in the woods and find their way home despite an encounter with a wicked witch. This is a version of the classic Grimm tale of two innocent children, abandoned in the forest by their cruel mother, who happen upon an enchanting gingerbread house owned by a wicked witch. The coauthor is Wilhelm Grimm, and translator is Anthea Bell.
