Presented by the Canadian Hypertension Society (CHS) as part of their public education program. The book was prompted by a major CHS conference on high blood pressure at which experts reviewed all previous recommendation for high BP in the light of new evidence from clinical research among BP patients. The book provides an overview of high blood pressure for the public in general and people with HBP in particular. The book has been sponsored by Astra Pharma Incorporated, a pharmacueitcal company that also makes some drugs useful for the treatment of hypertension.
