Summary: In this publication, both the texts as well as the images provide a fascinating overview of the recent developments in the work of an entire generation of young Georgian artists. Even though contemporary politics has manifestly had an impact on their work, this is not what gives it its direction. In terms of forms of expression, art rooted Georgian soil is thriving entirely within contemporary Western art traditions.
