In the first part titled Collective memory, national identity and ethnic conflicts the authors focus on the issues related to collective identity and collective memory which are both a community integrating facotr and a cause of ethnic conflicts arising it them. The second part of the book titled Urban space and collective memory was devoted in full to the problematic aspects of memory and identity in the context of city and urban space."
