As Kamui tries to come to terms with his destiny as prophesied by the seer Hinoto, it becomes clear that his childhood friend, Fuma, is destined to play a role in the final battle for the fate of the world. Battle lines are drawn and the other players in the conflict begin to gather around Kamui and Fuma--the "Seven Angels" who will help destroy the world and the "Seven Seals" who will try to save it.
