Improving the sensitivity of citizens towards the environment in which they live will also increase the demand for producing better urban spaces. The Re-ACT project, run by the Turkish Association of Architects in Private Practice (TSMD) and funded by the European Union, aims to improve the interest of citizens towards architecture and the city. The project included construction of a 1/500 scale model of the city of Ankara, a documentary film of the construction process of the model, a photography workshop, and photography exhibits about the city.
