This book describes the research presented at the 9th Goldberg Workshop on Molecular and Subcellular Cardiology: Effects of Structure and Function. The Henry Goldberg Workshops, an international forum of scientists and cardiologists that began in Haifa in 1984, attempt to bridge the gap between clinical cardiac medicine and molecular biology. It is a useful book for those who require a current overview ofmolecular cardiology while providing sufficient detail for researchers delving into specific topics in cardiovascular medicine.
