Gloria, a unknown nobody, scores the role of pavlova in a film about pavlovas life. She is too notch ballet dancer but her acting is terrible. She knows it and tries to get out of it. What makes it worse is that the director and her co star have it in for her. Then a famous actor helps her figure out how to take her rightful place in the film by showing her how to act.
