An adventure story of an impoverished Italian-Australian family of a fisherman have to flee Brisbane with a mysterious young man from the city slums in the derelict fishing boat. The flight takes them through treacherous Pacific storms and contending with a boat in constant danger of sinking all the while being chased by the Australian police. This writer will gradually draw you into the story to the point that it is impossible to put down before the finish.
