This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Artificial General Intelligence, AGI 2012, held in Oxford, UK, in December 2012. The 34 revised full papers presented together with 4 invited keynote lectures were carefully reviewed and selected from 80 submissions.
