This is the latest volume in the 'Workshops in Computing" series and contains papers from the Second International Workshop on Advances in Databases and Information Systems, held in Moscow from 27 - 30 June 1995. The ADBIS Workshops provide an international forum for the presentation and assessment of advanced research issues which will contribute to the future development and use of database and information systems.
