*The Philly Free School* were a multi-media artists co-op active out of Philadelphia in the Aughts, founded by Adam Fieled, Mike Land, Jeremy Eric Tenenbaum, and Nick Gruberg. Many of their multi-media performances were held at the **Highwire Gallery**, between Broad and 13th on Cherry Street in Center City Philadelphia. **Poetry Incarnation '05** was held at the Khyber Pass in Olde City on July 5, 2005. By metonymic connection, many Aughts Philadelphia artists associated with Neo-Romanticism also fall under the aegis of the Philly Free School. The literary journal [P.F.S. Post](http://artrecess.blogspot.com) (Philly Free School Post), established in October 2005, is an offshoot of the Philly Free School, and is still operative as of 2023. The poetry reading series P.F.S. Presents is a Philly Free School offshoot as well.
