Guillermo Cabrera Infante (Gibara, 22 de abril de 1929 – 21 de febrero de 2005) fue un novelista, ensayista, traductor, guionista y crítico cubano. En la década de 1950 utilizó el seudónimo Guillermo Caín. Si bien en el pasado apoyó al régimen de Castro, Cabrera Infante se exilió en Londres en 1965. A one-time supporter of the Castro regime, Cabrera Infante went into exile to London in 1965. He is best known for the novel *Tres Tristes Tigres* (literally: "three sad tigers", published in English as *Three Trapped Tigers*).
