Francisco José Veiga Rodríguez (Madrid, 1958) es un historiador, periodista y escritor español. Es doctor y catedrático del departamento de Historia Contemporánea de la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB), donde es profesor desde 1983, con preferencia por Europa Oriental, los países de la antigua Unión Soviética, los países de la península balcánica o Turquía. ---------- Francisco José Veiga Rodríguez (Madrid, 1958) is a Spanish historian, journalist, and writer. He holds a doctorate and is a professor in the Department of Contemporary History at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), where he has taught since 1983, specializing in Eastern Europe, the countries of the former Soviet Union, the Balkan Peninsula, and Turkey.
